It's Good Stuff

My project was a minor success. I liked the idea, but I think I could have done better with the finished product. Overall, I learned a lot about filming, and also editing. And after all, that is the point of this assignment. The weather was pretty brutal during filming. Also, I had to dub over one scene due to traffic drowning out my voice. It was also difficult to keep my thoughts in order while I told the story from various locations around town. Well, I don't want to ruin it, check it out for yourself.

My example story will be a documentary style retelling of the 'Battle of Sitka.' I plan to visit various historic locations around Sitka to better tell my story of what happened just over 200 years ago.

The assignment is to share a story from Alaska's History. This documentary style digital story should answer an essential question of why this person, place, or event is significant to this state's history. The project will include research of a non fictional story.
